December the tenth...age: 28. Christmas shopping: done but not wrapped. Social life: healthily in tact. Marriage: still in love with him. Life in general: struggling but surviving.

SAD again

SAD day again today. At work, got under 5 hours of sleep which is simply unacceptable. Hopefully tonight I can go home and rest.

On the way back from St. Louis and still feel tired and worn down...ugh. At least we are almost home.

A good Saturday

At St. Louis visiting relatives...one if them a mere 5 months old! Furthermore we got to go to the zoo today!!!

Ham and Sweet Potato pie

Ham chunks with milk, onion, and worsteshire sauce topped with buttery mashed sweet potatoes then sprinkled with brown sugar.

The recipe calls for bread crumbs but I found rice crispies work fine!

Pork and deliciosity

Pork chops cooked with ketchup and brown sugar and Mexican cous cous cooked with peppers, onions and Moscato white wine...yum!

Someday

Ever read a DIY magazine and wish that a house was your own and not just rented? So badly do I yearn to have our own house so I can do whatever I please with it. Someday...I just keep yearning for it...someday.

Debate

Last presidential debate before the election...Barack Obama vs. Mitt Romney. Bring it on!

The entire day lies before me and I have the freedom to fill it with anything I choose.

Still feeling tired and out of it but hopefully a day of rest will get me energized for tomorrow.

Cozy

Another day come and gone. Curled up on the couch watching Rick Castle with my love. A particularly long work day followed by a very long theater board meeting puts me in need of comedy, rest, and libations. Apartment needs cleaned but tonight is a night for recharging...tomorrow is another day.
